Bay of Fundy
Stretching along 270km of Canada’s eastern Atlantic shores, the Bay of Fundy beckons visitors with its dramatic scenic beauty and array of outdoor pursuits, which include hiking along pristine nature trails, kayaking along the coast, and whale-watching at the mouth of the bay. The bay is also known for its extraordinarily high tides – during each tide cycle, an incredible 160 billion tons of water pours in and out of the bay, forming impressive rapids and whirlpools at certain locations.
