Day 1

Upon arrival into Nairobi, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will connect with your scheduled charter flight to Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, where you will stay for three nights

Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.

Day 2 – 3

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy offers guests a unique kind of safari experience in Kenya. 

Activities include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, bush breakfasts, visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, visits to local schools and community development projects.

Activities that can be booked at an additional cost include: lion tracking, feeding time at Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, guided ravine river walks, a behind-the-scenes visit to the Endangered Species Enclosure, and half a day with the tracker/attack dogs (depending on availability).

Day 4

At a time to be advised: You will be transferred by a camp vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Rekero Camp, where you will stay for three nights.  

Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.

Deep within the Kenya Masai Mara National Reserve, Rekero offers a spectacular location from which to watch the Great Migration as the wildebeest thunder across the river just outside camp. This traditional East African Kenya camp evokes the romance of safaris from a bygone era.  The elegant tents form a tranquil oasis perched strategically above the mighty Talek River of our Mara tented camp. The sweeping views from camp take in the surrounding plains of the Maasai Mara, which support some of the greatest concentrations and diversity of wildlife in Africa. The cherry on top is the warm hospitality of our team and our world-renowned game-viewing guides with years of expertise – in such good hands, you are ensured an incomparable Masai Mara Kenya safari experience.

Day 5 – 6

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Rekero Camp.

Rekero Camp is perfectly located to allow you to experience and explore every corner of the Maasai Mara. Activities focus on truly superb game viewing with internationally renowned guides.

Game drives
Wildlife viewing and bird watching game drives – in the expert company of experienced Il Dorobo and Maasai guides – are offered twice daily from Rekero. These can be tailored to specific needs and interests for astounding game viewing at every opportunity. We use closed game-viewing vehicles with rooftop hatches that allow you to stand, each equipped with power points so you can recharge your devices.

Bush picnics
Maximize your time on the game-filled plains by enjoying a delicious packed breakfast or lunch provided by camp chefs while you’re on the move.

Cultural & community visits
Sharing the cultural aspect of the traditional Maasai way of life is a priority at Rekero. A visit to one of the neighboring villages, which are home to most of our guides, is a highly personal experience that the guides conduct with sensitivity to ensure it remains both unobtrusive and intimate. Please note cultural & community visits are at an additional cost of US$30 per person.

Balloon safaris
Glide over the rolling plains of the Maasai Mara and the neighboring conservancies on a romantic and serene hot-air balloon flight, and see the wildlife below from a different perspective (at an additional cost)

Day 7

At a time determined the night before: You will be transferred by a camp vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Nairobi for your departure flight.

Return home, taking with you the sights, sounds, and memories of an incredible African safari!

Included

  • Scheduled activities/tours (i.e. with other guests) as specified. Most safari camps and lodges include two game activities per day (morning and afternoon);
  • Alluring Africa’s local reps available 24/7 while traveling;
  • Services of lodge guides and staff;
  • Air/ground transfers as specified;
  • Accommodation taxes, applicable tourism levies and all relevant Value Added Government Sales Tax (GST);
