Day 1

Arrive Lima.

You MUST carry a printed copy of the Electronic Peru Entry/Exit Immigration Card (TAM):

Please note that upon arrival off an international flight into Peru, the Peru Immigration Services will process an Electronic Peru Entry/Exit Immigration Card (TAM). Travelers MUST ask for a printed copy of this card and retain with their passports. This step is important as hotels in Peru often ask for a copy of the card to ensure foreign visitors are not levied the 18% hotel tax. Failure to produce the printed card can result in hotels levying 18% of the room rate to the hotel bill and charged to the client’s credit card which they would present at check in for incidentals. Neither your travel agent or Alluring Americas can assist to get this waived once the amount is charged. To ensure you are not charged, produce the printed copy of the card when asked for.

Welcome to Peru. On arrival into Lima, you will need to clear Immigration and Customs. Upon exiting the Customs Hall, you will be met by our representative. He/She will be holding a sign displaying either the words “Alluring Americas” or your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
