Day 1

Upon arrival into Cape Town, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will be met by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to More Quarters Hotel, where you will stay for three nights.


Day 2

Today, you will be collected by an Alluring Africa representative for your Private Half Day City and Table Mountain Tour.

Situated below Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and industrial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity of excitement at the V&A Waterfront. Including all the `must-sees` of any Cape Town day tour, this option is a geographical and cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings to the dazzling modern shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

The tour commences with a tour of Table Mountain. In the city itself, we visit the Bo Kaap Precinct, Company Gardens, drive-by of the Castle of Good Hope, Parliament Buildings, City Hall and a stop vibrant and arty flea market of Greenmarket Square.


Day 3

Enjoy the day at your leisure in Cape Town.

Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans, situated between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Some cities boast rich culture, vibrant nightlife, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and extraordinary architecture, while others boast breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary natural wonders. Cape Town is fortunate to be blessed with all of these attractions and so much more. With its bustling harbour, world-class beaches, top-notch vineyards, and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates the hearts of all who visit.


Day 4

At a time to be advised: You will be collected by an Alluring Africa representative for your Private Full Day Into the Vines & Wines Tour.

Depart the city for the winelands in the nearby Boland Mountains for a leisurely exploration of historic towns, liquid delights, gastronomic wonders and home-grown hospitality. The Cape Winelands are some of the most beautiful in the world, with a heritage that lives on in beautiful, historic estates producing some of the world’s most celebrated wines.

There are a variety of route options that take in the historic wine regions of Constantia, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, or the more emergent areas like Walker Bay, the Swartland and Worcester.

Learn about the industries colorful history and traditions and savor the wonderful wines that showcase the unique terroirs of the Cape in a myriad of styles, from classic old world favorites to fruit-driven “early drinking” new world wines. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at one of South Africa’s top restaurants, paired of course, with the regions finest wines.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to Lanzerac Hotel and Spa, where you will stay for two nights.


Day 5

Enjoy the day at your leisure in Stellenbosch.

A blend of historical architecture, student life, epicurean delights and oak-lined avenues, Stellenbosch is a picturesque university town surrounded by mountains and vineyards. A walking tour of the town centre allows visitors to take in its beautifully preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture, as well as the many enticing art galleries, craft shops, clothing boutiques and gift stores, while foodies may prefer indulging in mouth-watering cuisine and fine wines at one of the chic restaurants or buzzing bistros. Stellenbosch is also the ideal base from which to explore the renowned local wine route, boasting a high proportion of the country’s leading wine estates.


Day 6

At a time to be advised: You will be collected by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to the Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Port Elizabeth Airport. On arrival, you will be met by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to Shamwari Eagles Crag Lodge, where you will stay for three nights.

Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.


Day 7 – 8

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Shamwari Game Reserve.

This game reserve not only has 5-star accommodation, green initiatives and animals that roam free but we also offer several experiences to keep you entertained under the beautiful African sky.

With two game drives per day, morning and evening, you can embark on an intimate guided tour of this pristine land. Survey the areas, witness the birds of prey or spot one of the Big 5 from the comfort and safety of our open game vehicles. Our rangers and guides are passionate about wildlife and knowledgeable in their respective fields of expertise. Expect to take away new insights, an appreciation for Africa, and an unforgettable experience.

Become part of the solution when it comes to nature conservation, by helping to conserve a vanishing way of life. Shamwari Game Reserve is proud to be associated with institutions that strive to promote awareness and provide information and education. There are 2 such facilities available to our guests: The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries.


Day 9

At a time determined the night before: You will be collected by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to the Port Elizabeth Airport for your departure flight.

Return home, taking with you the sights, sounds, and memories of an incredible African safari!
